The exchanges 541. Not only that, the trading volume of Cryptocurrencies in the last 24 hours was $81,976,605,427 worldwide. But what are the Cryptocurrencies to invest in 2022. In the article we will try to give some elements of analysis on the most interesting Cryptos in 2022. Obviously, this article is not meant to be an advice on which Crypto to invest in but simply a support. Top 10 Cryptocurrency 2022.
Top 10 Cryptocurrency 2022 by Market Capitalization
Let’s start with a first question. What are the top cryptos by market capitalization? To answer this question, let’s take as a reference the data updated on January 2, 2022. The top Cryptocurrency by market capitalization is still confirmed to be Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a market capitalization of over $895 billion. Precisely, as of January 2, the market capitalization is $895,688,387,523. This is almost more than twice the value of Ethereum which, as of January 2, 2022, has a value of over $44 billion. In third position among Cryptos with the most market capitalization in 2022 is Binance Coin with almost $89 billion.
Among the Cryptocurrency with the market capitalization in addition to BTC, ETH and BNB there are also two other Crypto with a value over 50 billion ollars. Tether in fact has a market capitalization of 78 billion 373 million dollars and in fifth place we find Solana with 54,552,495,292 dollars. Among the top fifteen Crypto we also find two Cryptocurrency that have generated a lot of interest in 2021. Dogecoin, which as of January 2, 2022 has a market capitalization of over 23 billion ollars and SHIBA INU (SHIB) which is in thirteenth position with 18 billion 692 million US dollars. The top 15 positions also include Polygon and Crypto.com Coin.
Top Crypto by Market Capitalizazion and Price
Above we saw the evolution of the 10 Cryptos by market capitalization. But which are the Cryptos with the highest price? In the table above you can see several parameters. From market capitalization, to price, to the change in the last year. The top Crypto in the world by price in dollars has remained Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s price is $47,438. In second place is Wrapped Bitcoin with $47.422 and in third place is Huobi BTC with $47.288. In the top positions globally there is also Yearn.Finance with over $40,000. In fifth position is instead Ethereum. With the various projects started in 2022, ETH has reached almost four thousand dollars.
But which Cryptos have grown the most in terms of price over the past year? The first Crypto with the biggest change is Thorchain. ThorChain, which is currently priced at $7.5, had a change of almost +500%. ThorChain’s market capitalization is $2.22 billion. Cryptos with greater positive changes include Ethereum. ETH, second in market capitalization and fifth in dollar price, had a positive change of nearly 400% between 2021 and 2022.
